hi, im still fairly new to riding, have been riding the past year or soo and have tried going on the freeways only once in a great while.

Can anyone give me any advice on my suspension? On the freeway i feel like my head bounces up and down too much and having a hard time reading freeway signs. Not sure if my suspension is too soft or too hard. Bought this bike from another rider last year, but been driving mostly around town.

Approx 215 with full gear on. Thanks!

I would suggest finding a good performance shop or race shop and have them set up the suspension for you. Best $50 you'll ever spend on your bike

Set your sag first, then play around with your rebound settings and compression.
Could just be me, but I'd probably tell OP to take it to a suspension shop rather than tell him to do it himself... Nothing against him, but I have a feeling he would just make it worse by trying to set his sag and rebound, compression, dampening, etc.

It's cheap to get your suspension set up properly. As a previous post said, probably the best $50 you'll spend on your bike.

damping:lmao actually, with op's weight, it's impossible to get the right sag with stock springs, so if not swapping them, all you can do is set the hydraulics.

I had been reading up to do my own suspension soon. There is just way to much shit to learn IMO. Id say just take it to a motorcycle specific suspension shop. NOT just the dealer:thumbup
The basics are fairly easy once you get a grasp of it (sag, damping). You should learn this since you have a track day coming up, right?
