What year Gsxr 600 would you say is best?

to answer the op's question, having owned and/or ridden every gsx-r600 produced since 2000, there is no answer. best is a very subjective category, and what might work best for me as a racer might not be best for a street rider or a commuter.

best in what terms? looks? again, completely subjective. performance? well are we talking straight line acceleration or road racing? the k4-k5 has the strongest motor, and produces the lowest 1/4 miles times. but in full race trim, around a road course, the l1-l2 is the best. comfort? again, subjective.

ya i was just merely bored and thought i would throw it out there for people like you who have ridden or owned every one since 01 just to here the thoughts.... i know most of it is subjective but i think hands down the 06-07 is the best looking... the newer bikes to me are getting a little on the ugly side but hey thats my opinion you know what they say about opinions..... there like assholes everyones got one and they all stink.....

+1 for the 06-07 years. I took a look at the 08 in the pictures right when they were released & rushed down to pick up one of the last remaining 07's left. Glad I did.

My K2 and L1 are nothing a like? I was hoping someone would call his bullshit.. LOL.. How the fuck can he say they are making the new bikes like the 01-03? Yea, they both have a motor and 2 wheels, but that is about all that is the same.... LMAO. :bitchslap

if the new generation didnt have the brembo setup i would probly say my K8

(i have no ridden the L1-2 gsxr 600, but my k8 brakes were very sad before the pads and steel cable

The newest one I've piloted was a K8 and I liked it better than the earlier models.
