For those of you have owned them alot of them what model year would you say was Suzuki's best 600? This is just an opinion based question, so nobody get to butt hurt over it.... my vote is or the 06-07
incorrect. It's the 07. After that they actually started working backwards using parts from the previous years. So the 08-09 model was mechanically similar to the 04-05 model and the 10-11 is similar to the 02-03. The only thing they update is the aesthetics to keep it looking modern. I'm surprised you guys didn't know that.
My K2 and L1 are nothing a like? I was hoping someone would call his bullshit.. LOL.. How the fuck can he say they are making the new bikes like the 01-03? Yea, they both have a motor and 2 wheels, but that is about all that is the same.... LMAO. :bitchslapincorrect.
k0-k3 are the same
k4-k5 are the same
k6-k7 are the same
k8-l0 are the same
l1-l2 are the same
every generation has had mechanical and aesthetic upgrades, so please stop talking about things if you don't really know.
to answer the op's question, having owned and/or ridden every gsx-r600 produced since 2000, there is no answer. best is a very subjective category, and what might work best for me as a racer might not be best for a street rider or a commuter.
best in what terms? looks? again, completely subjective. performance? well are we talking straight line acceleration or road racing? the k4-k5 has the strongest motor, and produces the lowest 1/4 miles times. but in full race trim, around a road course, the l1-l2 is the best. comfort? again, subjective.
so i don't really know what you are looking for op, hope i helped.
:facepalm
