For those of you have owned them alot of them what model year would you say was Suzuki's best 600? This is just an opinion based question, so nobody get to butt hurt over it.... my vote is or the 06-07

It's the 07. After that they actually started working backwards using parts from the previous years. So the 08-09 model was mechanically similar to the 04-05 model and the 10-11 is similar to the 02-03. The only thing they update is the aesthetics to keep it looking modern. I'm surprised you guys didn't know that.

My 1983 600 is the best back when they came from the factory with the wheel lube balast

im talking about overall and personally i dont think the newer ones are attractive.... has nothing to do with me owning one either....... guess this was more geared for the people who have owned the different model years and had one that was there favorite....

Well in that case I think the 2008 GSXR 750 is the best 600 ever made. IMO :lmao

I like the new model year bikes, every year so far. Unlike honda and yamaha i like the earlier ones.

All years are shit. Except for K4/5, because they're awesome.
Honestly, though, the newer, more "modern" looking bikes are getting progressively uglier IMO. Mechanically, they're mostly comparable.

Almost in the same boat.
I think the 06/07 models (aesthetics wise) look the best. The 2012's to me look like crap. The fairing design and headlight are horrible. I haven't ridden anything other than my 09 (which looks decent).
The only thing we can agree on is that the stock exhaust is horrific.
