Seriously, though, if I manage to sell mine, I'm either gonna be looking at a Triumph or a Busa, am wanting something more sport-touring oriented. There was this sweeeeet silver-gray Busa here, quite affordable, guy got in over his head when he bought it, but I didn't have that kind of money. :(
 
I replaced the 600 decal on my rear with a 1000 so chicks would like me more.
That third zero is a big extension. But the biggest mistakes dudes make is dropping the 6.

I would of kept the six and tacked on another zero. 6000 biotch. :shifty

1000's are awesome for an experienced rider on the street. So nice to have all the power you want in 6th gear, tall gears, lower rpm cruising (it's not screaming at 70mph when you're cruising or engine braking a ton when you cut the throttle on the highway).

It was great to just take the twisties all in one gear. Any time you're riding more than 50% or so (assuming you're not a racer), the 1000 becomes less fun IMO.
