All the same stuff. Signs of major damage and repair. Tooling marks and weathering are tell tale giveaways.

Look back at your other thread. The list I gave you still applies.

These bikes have known charging sysyem issues. The stators go bad, the reg/recs go bad, and both if those cause dead batteries.

Aside from that, the bikes are great. Both myself and Moto_Joe won championships on them racing this year.

There is nothing wrong with the clutches in these bikes... Just the charging system.

Ok. The 05 with 24k is on fhe west side and I can't see it until Wednesday but I'll save nearly $1000 by going with it but gain 18k miles. Hmmmmm
My 05 has well over 20k miles on it. Still runs like new. I have zero concerns over the engine.

That seems like a decent price. If money isn't the issue, I prob would get the 07 even though I love my 04 600. Ah, to have disposable income again... *sigh

I got my 07 600 with 7,500mi for $3,200 back in april. So far i've only had to replace the cam chain tensioner and rectifier. Those only cost $180 doing the work myself. I added a new exhaust but that's just personal preference

I like the blue/white of yours but I cannot seem to find any like that. Just wish I could find a damn good deal like that. $4500 in my area seems to be a pretty good deal these days as everybody is like "I don't need to sell it, but I will if the price is right."

I just lucked out and got it on a really good trade. $4500 is about what i see around here

This is very true, I just had to order the stator and rectifier, should be coming in the mail any day.

I would say bring a Volt meter with you and test the charging system.
With the bike off test the volt of the battery should be at around 12.6 if the battery is full, turn on the bike and while the bike is idling the volts on the battery should jump up to 13v-14vand change and if you rev it, it should go higher. 15-16v

Went and looked at the Telefonica, looks great but the rims would need recoated (was flaking) and overall it's not what I'm after.

The wife likes the 2007 more than the 2005 (as do I, and the '07 is a better deal IMHO) so I think that's what I'm going to get.

2005 with 24k miles for $3400 with a PC3 and missing front fender vs 2007 with 6k miles for $4500 with nothing missing.

Going to go pick up the '07 tomorrow I believe... So excited.
