was just looking over a few of my videos. I was matching my best times on power pures in the summer heat with GPAs and damp conditions :punk

I can't wait to get out there on a nice day :wait

James was running blue group on his R6 and red on his tard :lol

today got off to a bad start for cmp. no rain today but a crash in the first session and then my brake reservoir bracket broke. all fixed and ready for the next session, then quiet time.

i got some good videos of me in the rain yesterday. i borrowed a go pro and had some fun.

Wow, I didn't know you could do that... wonder if he had to pay twice

Were you running on your rain tires?

Busted open the forks to have a peek inside, never worked on Ohlins forks before. Anyhow, I'm not too sure who serviced these forks last, but they set the friggin oil lever height at somewhere around 110mm.......the standard starting oil level height for Ohlins forks is about 160mm. Set it to 175mm as per T-man's suggestions.

With all these fork oil height issues being posted up lately, I'm afraid to open mine!

Well for the stock forks on my 1K the manual says 101mm height

Traxxion recommends 120mm for the AK20 carts

Ohlins its usually in the 160-170mm range.

T-man says the pros (running Ohlins) run even lower oil heights than that, like 190-200mm

I don't get it... what's the difference in the heights matter if the fork piston is travelling through oil always?

The oil height doesn't have anything to do with that. The oil height has to do with the air spring effect inside of the fork. The more oil the less air, the les oil the more air.

the fork is sealed and so is the air inside so oil level has to do with air pressure inside the fork through its stroke, as posted above.

back from vir, with 2 championships! didn't win at vir, but did well enough to keep my #1 standings in both mw sb and mw gp. best lap time was a 1:36, but i only got in about 30 dry laps. best rain time was a 1:53 i think.
