:eek:fftopic
The best carbs for your 85 750 (without internal modifications) would be a set of Slingshot Mikunis with the appropriate intakes and pod filters. You'll have to jet to get the best performance but I believe back in the day that was a sure fire recipe for best results on non-modified engines.

You could also bore the 85's 29mm carbs to 33mm but that requires that you dismantle the carbs, carefully bore them out, clean them up, reassemble then balance and jet them. A nice set of slingshot carbs would probably be easier to acquire and likely give better performance.

are the wheels ok for say an 86 1100 with the slimmer axle or are they for the 90's with the big hollow axle?

nope...I have pm chicanes on the 86 1100 and that's where these are going...It's like christmas at my house today.

Send him a pm if you are going to get em. He will let you know if someone else is buying them. That's a great deal with new rubber.

Dump,

Still waiting on the damper.

The dry clutch bits gone yet?
