I had a great time today, with class room stuff in between sessions i didnt really get to much time to talk to you guys but i had a GREAT time, definately think im hooked.

Bob sucks that you had a shitty day, but let me know if you want that zipper.
bob wanted to get bumped up so bad he man handled his zipper right off the jacket he was so excited to get back out there. :shifty :lol

Mixed bag for me today, I ran my best personal time at 1:39.. then highsided:facepalm.

I'm pretty much fine except for a minor wrist sprain, but the bike has seen better days.

Hope you guys were all safe out there

Bob I saw your bike coming in on the crash truck earlier in the day......the next time I saw you after than was when you came flying around me into T-9 like I was in reverse, it was a nice welcome to Red :D
I came down on the GPAs, and swapped to the Q2s first thing.

I skipped the first session because it was raining. Second session, I pit out, almost highside on the first turn, decide it's time to pit back in, then immediately low side. After it dried off during lunch, I re-teched and went back out on the q2's for one session (I will post the video up in a bit), then swapped the GPAs back on for a session... then the zipper on my 2 piece broke, so I only got 2 good sessions in for the day.

I watched the video, I passed kinda close. Sorry about that, I am just used to the advanced passing rules now. I will post up the video whenever I can get it compressed.

Currently my only plan is the Full Monti on October 11th. I don't know if I wanna do more than that in October, though, gonna be COLD! I would like to do more sooner, but that's dependent on getting my fuckin zipper replaced. Next year it's one piece for the track.

No sweat, I don't mind passes that are close as long as they are clean. You went around the outside, it was fine. That fast guy in Red, he was riding a black 600 or 750 and wearing black Rev'it leather dove inside of me a little tight going into 8, so I tried to follow him and then he was on the ground exiting 10, and they red-flagged the sesson. I think that was the next to last Red session but I decided to wrap it up then. I got everything done that I needed to so I was content, even though I only rode 4 full sessions :twitch

Congrats on the bumps to RED guys!!!!:frantic They let anybody in RED these days, LMAO!!!!

SPL I was behind Magnum in pit out and waved to you in line.

Ant D I am sorry to hear about your father. Spend as much time with him as you can.

Bob, I think we are gonna make you the LEADER of the CRASH CREW!!! 3 times in 1 year!!!:wtf Thats how we do, we crash and get back on and RIDE again!!!:chucks

I gotta tell ya SPL, that was me. I got way too aggressive in my passing toward the end of the day and I apologize. I sure as hell paid for it with a highside at turn ten. I ran myself wide and tried to power out of it and went down pretty hard. Didn't help that it was my first day on a new set of pures that just never felt right to me.

I'm definitely going to work on my control and refrain from some of my aggressive passing in the future, hopefully we can meet up for a trackday next season. My bike will be out of commission until then for sure.

Its fine, to be honest, as long as you don't clip me or send me off the track I'm fine with it, I'm mean coaches make some rather questionable passes too (at least according to the rules they themselves define). On Saturday, my buddy in blue actually got rear-ended by someone, fortunately he didn't crash.

I was used to being passed pretty aggressively from back when I used to ride MX so it doesn't really spook me much.

Oh right, I remember. Was that just before I almost blew past Terry the pit out guy? He makes such a tiny gesture with his hand it's kind of hard to tell the difference between "go" and "stop" lol :dunno

How was your day yesterday?

Yeah a friend of mines almost got into a fight with Terry last year at Shenny. My boy is tall like terry but musclar. My day went fine except for the wet morning. I broke in my brand new pures in the wet. I was sliding on all the patches. :eek:hmy That was my fifth day of riding in the rain on the track. I kept my waterproof textile on ALL day. I think I will keep the pures on for the rest of the track season.

Only problem is he said he doesn't put the samples on his website so you have to pick the ones you want from the ones on that board. Would be much more convenient if he put them on that website to choose from once you've packed up and gotten home :)

Yeah, I had the back step out a bit coming out of 7, I would say that was really the only sketchy moment I had all day. Once the track got dry all was well.

I saw you queue up in pit lane behind Joe and the first thing I thought was...."Am I high right now, or is that guy wearing dress slacks?" :scratch

The guys who usually takes pics for STT has computers to view all your pics, everything is broken up by group and number and his prices are half this guy's stuff. Plus you can view and order pics from his website.

And I think one of their photographers was almost on the track at t5.

Yeah i was expecting something like that from TPM but this guy seemed like a joke. Is this the guy that TPM always uses?? i bought an 8x10 from him but forgot to pick it up, plus wanted to buy a CD i called and left him a message but didnt get a response.

I am gonna see if emailing him gets me anywhere, if not, i might be out 30 bucks.

Oh and i know i wasnt going anywhere near a fast pace, after waking up this morning i feel i can do a two day event with no problem. Lets see if i feel the same way after a few more track days.
