Hi all :) ,

I am new to riding and the forum, i was poking around google looking for other milwaukee area riders since only a few of my buddies ride..

My name is Brett and im from Oak Creek. Ive been riding for a few weeks, i bought my buddies GSX-R 750 after i got my M endorsement after that house of harley class. I dont know much about bikes, but im hoping to learn and gain some experience and knowledge. I have only worked on cars really..

Bike is in the shop at the moment, needs a clutch or something.. they will look at it and let me know i suppose..

A big group of us meet at Ride (the old Torque Center) every Weds night. My buddy and I usually get there around 7-7:30. Anywhere from 30-100 bikes show up, hang out for about an hour or so, and then go for a ride for a few hours.

well i got my bike back but they didnt do what i asked. i asked them to look at the clutch because i have multiple opinions based off the information i have provided that the clutch is probably slipping. well sportland2 only adjusted it and it worked fine on their test drive, so i took it and after a few hours of normal cruising around, i turn the corner to accelerate after stopping and the clutch slips big time...

so i probably wont make the wednesday thing :sad

that sucks, I know the guys who used to own Ace in kenosha opened up a new shop in kenosha somewhere, if you need somewhere else to go, the guys at ace were all good guys. Im still not sure quite where it is though. I have to find it.

You guys need to move to the other side of the state! I'm from the La Crosse area and there are tons of twisty roads in the area to hit up. Quite a few roads listed on Wisconsin Sport bikes are within a 45 min drive. Wildcat mtn is always a blast. :biggrin

So very true.

I ride over there every fall with a few friends just to ride those roads.

Okay, don't tease me, but I was in Uke's Harley dealership in Kenosha. Hey, my brother wanted to look around. Anyway, I saw a very good book there for rides in Wisconsin. I flipped through it, but I didn't buy it at the time. When I opened the page to my area, I could see that the author definitely knows the roads, because she covered my exact ride for my area.

Hey how's it going guys, I've been riding for about a year now and I just picked up a gixxer 650 with 14 on the clock also with a couple of aftermarket goodies.

I'm looking for a few people to ride with cause I don't know many people who do.

I live in Mukwonago if anyone is located around that area.

hey don't know if anyone over here can help. got a 02 1000. 23,000 miles. got out of work lastnight, took 4 trys to get started. even gave a little twist. all I got was a back fire. it has a full system yosh. and power commander. temp sensor? got any ideas? and yes there was plenty of gas in it. no codes popped either. just a pain to start.

Greetings one and all,
some piece of shit pulled out in front of me. Crashed my mint 92 and looking for parts.
Later model forks, ft fender, complete ft n left side plastics, gauges, t/s, mirrors, fuel tank, left side rear plastic.
