they end up under the battery box area..lengthwise anyways...its an 87 750 engine in an 89 750 frame

ignition pickup sounds right. I have the same set up in mine but I have no wiring on the right side. My ignition pick up wiring is under the cover.

87 engine had a pick up with four cable (double pick up)
89 only with two (single pick up)
when you use wiring harness and cdi from a 89 with pick up from 87
its normally have to more cable without place.............
(take a look here "signal generator" on top right side)

always a wise guy..it doesnt have a white wire like those pics show, but i got the same thing out of the wiring diagram myself..i cant figure out where it plugs into though
