I thought since the K5 K6 has its own section it would be interesting to see who is still an original owner. When/Where did you buy? How is your bike these days? Miles? I have a K6 that I bought in June 2007 here in So. California. My bike is in top condition. I have not had any issues at all. My bike sees the canyons on a regular basis. Not regrets here as an original owner.

probably closer to 25K, I haven't looked at the odo in a while. After this goes on I'm strongly considering leaving it a full time track bike and getting a tard or something for the street.

Looks good... I feel ya on the straight track...im knocking on 19k and no problems...oohh just the thermostat but other than that....clean as a whistle....No trackdays for me lately cause there is a thing called MONEY I dont havenowhere close to 83K

I bought mine in september of 06. 25k miles and not one issue :frantic. Lately its seen more track the street. I've been too lazy to swap the race fairings on and off so they just stay on.

Mine had 1,000 miles on it when I bought it, so I sorta think of myself as the original owner.

Bought mine May in 06. 9000 miles on her. Runs beautifully (knock wood) and see no reason to get rid of her for anything else at this time. Not a load of miles but I commute on my VFR. As a side note I'm doing my first track day at New Hampshire next week with Penguin racing so the Gix may end up as a track bike :cheers

Bought my bike in summer of 05. Original owner. 20k miles on it no real problems. Gear Position Switch keeps messing up but other than that no complaints. After riding everyday for almost 6 years i bought a new truck in 08. It felt so good to have A/C in the summer and Heat in the winter i didn't ride for about a year and a half. Now i'm back on it. Texas summers can be a beast though.
