Damn, not a good day for people I know in the media. Two guys I know are in jail right now, and my buddy's dad is in trouble for driving a football player home after the guy got out of jail.

They're claiming it was preferential treatment because the guy's an NFL player.
He was accused of domestic battery on his pregnant girl and locked up.
After his bond was posted and he was free to go, the commander arranged for him to leave out the back door instead of the front where the media was camped out. Then he gave the guy a ride home. Most people walk off and call a ride or whatever when they get out.

Oh and it seems he has a 2nd j*b with the Miami Dolphins, and that may have played a role in his decision to help the guy after he got out.
