Sooo I was wondering if someone could post a list of all years and model engines that will fit in the 95 frame of my 750, with little or no modifications. I.E. if I need to make new motor mounts I can at my work just need to make sure the motor itself will fit in the frame. Thanks.

I was throwing the Bandit 1250 idea around in my head the other day. The outside dimensions of the motor look close enough to be a swap with motor mount work. That would be a lot easier than trying to adapt a fuel injection system to a stock W/C motor for sure. You would probably have to make up some kind of airbox solution but if you could squeeze that motor in to the frame the airbox would probably be easy to mod.

ok lets say I was to get that motor at some point, it comes with everything for FI but what would I need to do to the gas tank to adapt that for FI?
That is the only real problem. You would need to take you tank to a welder and have him weld in a ring that would allow the bandit fuel pump to mount on the inside. You "may" be able to run an external pump and just a straight fuel valve from your GSX-R tank. All you really need to know is the fuel pressure the bandit pumps out and get a pump that does that pressure. It's easily doable as long as you can get the motor into the frame.

A fuel pump, a doner bandit tank, cut the fuel pump mount off of it and weld to the w/c gixxer tank.....:dunno just a guess...... The wire harness will have to be from the bandit and everything will have to be adapted to it.

Hmmm getting very interested with this swap now...welding not a problem, the machine shop guys at my work can do any welding or CNC of motor mounts needed, just wanted to make sure its not going to be next to impossible to do.

an oil cooled motor is NOT a direct swap into a water cooled frame. I just put an 88 1100 motor into a 92 gsxr 600 frame. It can be done, but it will require more than engine mount brackets. You have to cut the rear mounts off of the frame and make new ones as well as clearancing the frame in several areas. On top of all of that, it is an EXTREMELY tight fit (but so is the stock motor). I don't know if I am allowed to link to another forum, but you can see my build here: it is almost finished: http://www.customfighters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19908
