the carbs most likely just need a good cleaning if it sat that long without being run.that's true too.
The bike went into storage for about 2 years, when it came out of storage, it wouldn't idle. I don't know what all he did to prep it for storage, so it could just be that the carbs need a good cleaning... I am going to try some carb cleaner spray that I have and see if I can't clean it out a little with that... and if that improves it at all, then I will take them off and give them a full clean with new gaskets and seals. Hell, I should probably jsut rebuild them anyway... 12 year old bike that sat for 2 years.... then for another 10 months in his garage after... I am sure they need it.

THAT IS WHAT I (damn caps lock) am thinking... I have some carb cleaner that is in a spray thing, it is made to be sprayed down the carbs while it is running, and you can pull a vacuum line and spray it in there also.the carbs most likely just need a good cleaning if it sat that long without being run.
You know it :bananaPsshhhh, I'm not scared of the BBV . . . he's my snuggle bunny![]()
