ok i was on my way home form work when i stopped at a red light a guy pules up in a supra and startes talking shit, i bet my car would whoop your bike and as soon as he said that i started reving my bike and as you can imagine i kicked his ass back to the stone age and even funnier is later he goes to pass me after i am already on the highway doing the speed limit and a cop is coming the other way and as i look in my mirror i saw the cop flip a bitch and come after him. so he got his ass kicked bye a gsxr 1000 and a fat ticket what a great day.

i have a little story i like to tell.
So there is this lotus elise( 1.8-liter four-cylinder that produces 189 hp and 133 lb-ft of torque )just like this one, still had the dealer paper license plate ( which was about 3 days expired, stupid on his part )![Image]()
so i was going down our bypass(27) and this dude rolls up beside me( looked like one of those guys that work in Express for men at the mall:lol and he also had his girlfriend with him, who was smoking sexy! so i looked at him and he was waving his finger like he wanted to run them, so i just motioned for him to go on, waited a cpl seconds and blew by him at around 170mph, he caught up later on still acting like his car was bad, reving it up and takin off and slowing down, i get on his gf's side and start waving at her with my index finger:biggrin then he takes the next exit off in anger.:lol:lol:lol oh man i was eatin that up all day.
Try a race that actually involves braking and cornering (i.e. skill) and then see what you've got for that Lotus which is obviously not designed to run high top speeds in case you hadn't noticed.

yeah but i have done twisties with great cornering cars corvette,300zx,etc that should have beat me but the drivers where not that skilled so i toasted em. so i say it is all in the driver/rider skill unless there is a big advantage on either side

haha if there was a redlight near and i happen to stop next to the car, i def. would have, lol. that would have killed him, haha, left his car sitting, disapointed his gf by doing so yet attracted her to a nicer and faster vehicle, smoked the lotus took the girl, he would have taken it back the next day. lol.

tha is besides the point of that whole story, the dude thought his car was the s*** and wanted to show off in front of his gf, i smoked him he was depressed and that was it, yea im sure that car can handle very well but that was besides the point of the story i just told, yet i could hang with him or better yet beat him on the track.Try a race that actually involves braking and cornering (i.e. skill) and then see what you've got for that Lotus which is obviously not designed to run high top speeds in case you hadn't noticed.

Awesome story man! I had a similar thing happen to me (in my car) when a murdered out Lotus Exige rolled up on me. I gave him thumbs up and my gf snapped a few pic of his car. Everything was cool until he wanted to race. I smoked his ass really bad in front of his boy
unk. next thing I know he rolls up on me and instead of giving me thumbs up he flipped me the bird and took off. :wtfNormally I wouldn't race on the street but his license plate was "Hustler" and he wanted to go so I really had no choice :biggrin

oh man, wen to disney world on my senior trip of high school, and they had some stunt show cars with the busa 1300cc motor in them and it was insane, woulda loved to have one of those. lol. you can prob find it on youtube. better yet here: check that out if you have never seen the stunt show....its so awesome.

Thanks man. Mods aren't crazy, just exhaust, injectors, intercooler, small turbo upgrade and a bunch of suspension work. It's not a dragster but is a heck of a lot of fun on the street. Insurance isn't bad, including my bike it's just under $225/month.

I raced my buddies 2005 Z06 Vette with a supercharger and all sorts of shit done to it from a stoplight all the way up to about 170mph and looked over and he was right off my rear tire. That car is fast as hell and really nice, but he has about $70000 in it and I have $11000.:chucks Sorry....same thing with a WS-6 Firebird, kid thouhgt it was fast with nitrous and a supercharger and I gave him the finger as I rode past him in a wheelie at 130, I could almost see the tears rolling down his cheeks.:flipoff
I was coming back from a ride in the mountains (back through town) and didn't even realise a guy was racing me from the lights until his car went past me doing about 100 (62mph) in a 60 zone (err 35/40mph). It wasnt until the next set of lights my girlfriend pulled up laughing going "how funny was that guy racing you" and I was like "racing me? i took off slowly?". we both looked across at this guy (who was stopped next to us) and laughed at him. he wouldn't even look at me afterwards.

insurance aint bad on that, i have a 87 bronco jacked up and restored and with my bike its 120/month, but i been wanting a car and i have always loved those cars but i figured the payments and insurance would be ridiculous! haha, "hustler" thats funny. you have any pics of your car.Thanks man. I don't have any pics of the car but will be taking some this weekend because unfortunately I'm selling it to buy a house :sad It looks stock though except for the small drop. Unlike a lot of import guys I put all my extra cash under the hood :biggrin.

My last import that was fast (I don't count my s2k or WRX in that equation, they were/are fun but not fast) was a 93 hatchback I sold last year. It ran 12.40's on motor and 11.60's on the small shot all on pump gas and driven to and from any track in NC without a hiccup. Looked rock stock on the outside aside from a set of wheels but DAMN was that engine bay ever pretty

Yes that is wired up and ready to run. I tucked every wire in the bay and made my own harness for the front of the chassis because I wanted the old school hot rod "no wires" look on it. Only thing not installed in that pic is the radiator stay because I hadn't filled it yet.

^^^awesome man. This summer a friend of mine finished building a GS-R with a JDM type R swap. It's all motor (not sure the mods) except a 50 shot for the track. His best E/T's this year were a 12.5xx off the bottle and a 12.0xx on the bottle.
The times should be better but his 18" street rubber isn't up to the task of a good 60' and he's still learning to launch it. He's got a 50 trim sitting in his shop but wants to master the launch and have fun with it as is before adding boost.
Unfortunately I'll be out of the import game for a while but have big plans for a car whenever my budget allows it again. The next ride's gonna be a POS but at least I'll have a garage to park it in :biggrin
