well..in a picture they look like total shit...and after seeing them in person at the local dealer today...they still look like total shit. and that huge ass wheelie bar looking plate hanger shit looks like shit..and they stole the ducati front air scoops

The plate holder is because of DOT specs, all the newer bikes are getting these ugly ass plate holders to get the plate out to where DOT wants it, but they make it EASY to replace for that reason. Look at the Yamaha plate holder.

The 08-09' cbr1000rr is definitely going to be my next bike..... believe me when I say this..... that bike will grow on people. I thought it was ugly as fuck when I first saw it but now I think it looks damn good.

That looks pretty ugly in the pic. I don't get it, those bikes looked great in person at Daytona. I don't recall seeing one in the Repsol livery, so that and camera angle must have something to do with it.
the cbr is this pic isnt very photogenic. but having seen one in the flesh, i think these are hawt bikes mainly cuz they look so small. yea, i know it's a bit cliched to say 'a 1k bike looking and feeling like a 600' but it's absolutely true with this honda.
I hated it when it was first revealed. Now I think it looks pretty good. Why are people complaining about shit that Honda had to put there such as the plate holder and exhaust? All stock plate holders look like shit and most standard exhausts do too. That stuff is the first to go anyways. I think the new blade looks the best in Superbike trim.
FE, aftermarket GP-style pipe, solo cowl, and remove passenger pegs are all it will take to turn it into hotness.

yeah i would take it, then run it into a wall which wouldnt make it look any different than it does. no but seriously i would then throw it on a trailer to be sold no way in hell id ride that sucker home or be seen on a honda!!

BFD......Ducati stole Honda's single sided swingarm (1st seen on the 88 or 89 Honda Hawk).
As for the new 1000....I like it, however, I would not sell/replace my RC51 with one.

well it is fugly but all the reviews of that bike are making it out to be the best thing since sliced bread.....they did shave 17lbs and did some engine work to get a few more hp out of it.

the tail looks too low is that the new trend with sportbikes. I guess I like the tail of my k4 750 and have gotten used to it

oh ok..well i still say they stole the scoops..whether they did or not..i saw it on the ducs first haha..but how do you like the RC? they are my all time favorite sportbikes..and what's the top on it? by specs..not because you ride top speed on the highway like a squid would
