As far as I'm concerned Suzuki did a far better job on the styling of the K8 600 than they did on the K7 1000 which to me is kind of ugly. I really like the new bike, but the first thing to go would be the exhaust. It is the only thing that I don't care for. Good job Suzuki!!! I'd buy it

i guess they swapped the lights...the middle projector is low beam and the two sides are halogen reflectors

Not 100% sure but it looks like it will be the same slipon's as it sounds like they only changed the end can and nothing else.

+1 on its a nice looking bike except for the headlight/exhaust. looks a hell of a lot better than the k7 1000
The selector switch is for the racing groups. Basically Yoshimura and Bazzaz offer a traction control kit for the racetrac that is supersport legal. Just install and tweak the software and take it on the track. Same with the 07 1000.
The shorty exhaust has had some issues. Most aftermarket systems are having toruble making power on the dyno;s with the shorties. Take a look at M4's shorty, they wont even offer a dyno shart with that system from the factory. Basically most short systems add little to no power compared to the full Ackropovic's and such. It is more a of a cosmetic thing. I think they are trying to up the horses so they are putting this longer can on it..

I think if anything, Id probably just get the tail and swap it onto my K7. That headlight is so ugly..
