Figured i'd share some pic's and stuff of my other rides. Motorcycles really aren't my thing i like them but i love cars alot more. I do all the work myself to these things and it is becoming a PITA to keep them all running and looking good :mad

The TA - it's the G/F's ride i talked her into buying it so i could mod it and drive the crap out of it :D

The Mustang - It's in alittle worse shape it's the oldest and my first car but it's also a hell of alot faster ...................when it's running haha

Here's a short video when i had the SC on it untuned nothing special
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWN1Xdg2d24

I haven't got a vid. of it yet with the turbo cause the car doesn't have an engine at the moment. Blew the rings out a few months ago when i had the SC on it. Haven't found the ambition in finishing it yet.

Stang's a little rough man...but I do know how it feels to lose motivation after something catastrophic as blowing the seals. The GTP, while I was never a fan of that car, has some cool factor with your home made turbo kit so props on that.

You going with a new motor combo for that 67? I had some piston slap, scarred it up pretty good...valves are bent in my TW heads that I've spent a good chunk of change on to have it opened up...and the rocker holes are stripped. The slap forced two rockers out ripping the threads out with them.

Pisses me off...but at the same time, I can now build something on a no budget basis...well, when I save up the money for a no budget build, LMAO!

Thinking a 408 with a T88 feeding the air...or just building a bad ass 408 with a 300 shot. Nothing sounds more bad ass than a big cammed SBF. Not even a 408 blowing off boost.

Good to see we stang enthusiasts on gixxer.com

Its funny that you say cars are more of your thing, I have owned my fair share: 3000GT twin turbo, stealth twin turbo awd, and 350Z. I have found that the cars were fun, but that are so expensive that I can only afford to have one. So if it goes down I am SOL and screwed.

now with bikes I can have a daily driver type car or truck and 1 or more bikes. If the bike were to break it doesn't matter because I still have the daily driver. I have less money invested in the bikes, they are more fun to me, A LOT faster and could invest in a second bike easier than a second sports car. I am eventually going to have a bike for the turns and a bike for the drag strip. A turbo busa running 8's is a lot easier to build and maintain than any car that could match its performance.

Those reasons for me is always why bikes > cars.

Very well put... I'll second that! :punk

The stang only looks rough really. You'd never guess that there's a good chunk of money in parts in that car the only thing it needs is a paint job and it'll look good there's no rust on it all the body parts are new and i've got a set of GT-500 rims ready to go on it too. I just haven't put aside any money for the paint yet lol.

I'm actually buying a rebuilt 302 for the T-67 then i'm taking the motor that has the blown rings and building it stronger and swapping it back in with this stocker 302 blows. I'll just be happy with 450-500rwhp, that's plenty for the street and more then plenty for a stock block.

The reason i bought the GTP it's a sleeper, i had it modded to run low to mid 13's before with the supercharger. Then i added the turbo and it should be around the same maybe alittle faster on less boost. To see the look on some of these v8 guy's faces when a GTP goes past them is pretty priceless lol.

Iceman3k- You are right bikes are easier and cheaper to mod and make fast BUT i never really wanted to go fast on 2 wheel's. You'll never get the performance from 4 wheels at the same price you can on 2 wheels. My family has just always been into drag racing cars, had they drag raced bikes i'd probably have 4 bikes and a car and on a car forum sharing all the pic's and vid's of my bikes lol.

Nice cars. The T/A sounds great with that cam. I would like to hear some times with your GTP with that turbo. I only had mine going 13.9@100 and that was with a 2.3 60'. Just had a 3.4 pulley, catback, 160Tstat, and cold air intake. They make for a great sleeper car. Only ran it a few times and then I stopped messing with that and bought a mustang fox body to beat up on at the track. I had much better times with that. Way to go on getting the girlfriend to get the T/A. I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me buy a Ducati Monster, for her of course.

Well your right about the 408, My buddy just finished up a 410 with Trick flow R heads, intake and a custom ground cam. It sounds like a monster, we were driving around town and rolled up next to a GT500 we were both looking at each other cars like :eek we both punched it and needless to say the GT got smoked. What type of axles are you using? you gonna use the SN95 spindles for the front? or just the ranger axles? 5.0s are great fun cars, I'm currently in the market for a 4 cyl notch back.

Ok,not to sound like a dick but is a 14 sec car really considered a sleeper??

Right now, it's sitting on stock axles. Still a 4L set up. I plan on going with a BAER kit up front and AJE k member and a built rear end with Strange axles.

CaneCorso- Thanks it's the smaller TR224 too, the g/f wanted to keep it pretty tame. It's actually going in for paint in a few weeks the hood started peeling :( . And yeah the GTP's make for great sleeper cars but they have weak parts like the tranny lol.

Looks like there's quite a few stang owners in here. I guess i'm going to have to get a vid. of the stang vs. the TA when i get it finished IF that ever happens. I've got an old video of the stang when it was N/A with a 100shot vs. my cousin's stroked 4.6 i'll see if i can find it. Made the video to prove a point on stangnet that the SOHC 4.6 is a boat anchor and even with the same mod's it still can't live up to a real pushrod 5.0.

I said they make for a great sleeper car. I didn't say my head turning 13.9 was.
Thanks for clearing that up

stang sounds good. Need to beat that thing some more. t/a sounds nice, is that loud mouth exhuast? I should get some pics of my LX on here. I used to have so many videos of my old 88 GT, drifting all over these parking lots, doin 4th gear break stands.

Thanks, it sounds alot better in person the exhaust has so much bass to it i can't record it outside the car it just sounds like the cam is inside a big drum lol. And yeah i do need to beat on it more, i think in the last 3 years i've driven that car maybe a total of 500miles if that.

And the exhaust on the TA is a magnaflow catback. But it's so loud cause i have it breathing through longtubes, off road Y-pipe through a cutout. If i put the cap on the cutout it's really quiet still sounds good. The G/F likes the cap off the cutout so it stays off till winter time when it's parked.

burnout videos are cool :rolleyes if you got any. Do you drag race at all? If i only saved my old videos, or still hung out with the people i used to. At my local track they used to have a burnout contest every wed night. It cost nothing to enter, you didnt even have to be racing that night lol. I enterd in my old 88 GT, it had the motor from my LX now. I was dead nuts last to go. I watched the hicks bring out a 240sx that they welded the spiders and pinions together in the rear. So funny. He grabbed 2nd gear and did a decent show. Then there was a lincoln mark 8. I figured it be a killer show, automatic would roll into overdrive if he was luck and chuck the tranny, but instead he broke the rear u joint. CARNAGE is great to watch. I rolled up. Oh line lock is key, none of these rookies new it lmao. I took it easy 1st gear, got booed and yelled at. Then I just clicked threw the gears 2nd, 3rd, 4th with my foot threw the floor board tryin to get it on the limiter. The tires i mounted where too tall. I blew the belts off after like 1:45. My buddy had it all of vidoe there was no wind the smoke cloud was retarded and just rose up and up. I got a sick 3' trophy for it. Biggest trophy all my little league ones are tiny lmao!

Sorry no burnout vids, i grew outta that a long time ago :) . I go to the track every once in a while. Last time there was before the bigger cam swap in the TA on a 75shot with crappy bald tires i was hitting 12.3@117mph in it with a 2.2 60' time.
Actually there's the vid. for it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbbvVXSVZVI

The first run was without spray and the 2nd and 3rd are with. I also wasn't spraying till i got out of 1st gear, about the middle of 2nd it was finally activating i believe. I couldn't stall it up either i was launching off idle very softly if you couldn't tell.

The stang hasn't saw the track in about 3 years, and the GTP last time out was hitting 14.6@96mph i had taken all the mods off it so it was pretty much stock again except for the heavy 17" bullitt's and being lowered. The best i was running in the GTP a few years ago was 13.6-13.7@103mph with really not that many mods. I may take the GTP this fall just to see what it'll do, i figure it should be good for low 13's or so.

Because i just got into motorcycles that's why. I've always liked bikes, but i thought i'd share some info on my cars. Since after all they take up 90% of my sig. How or why is that odd? If someone like's power an speed they should enjoy it no matter if it is coming from something with 4 wheels or 2 wheels.

I already posted bout the gixxer in the starting line forum a week or 2 ago.
