No offense to your gsx-r, but I'd rather see that.... :drool

Very nice. Very clean......how long have you owned it?

it's like art. i owned it for about 1.5 yrs and finally got tired of all the hassles that came with owning a Duc and having no dealer less than 2 hrs away. it went to a guy that i've kept in touch with. i'll buy it back if he ever sells it and i have the means.

that is sweet. between that and the 888 they are my favorite Ducs. i'll have another some day just not as my only bike.
i miss mine terribly. i poured my heart and soul into that bike over the course of an entire winter. rode it once and the valves got all effed up and ruined the heads. then no one around here could give me a straight answer on how much it would cost to fix it. they all wanted a blank check basically. i had had enough.
i bought a 2006 GSXR750 a few days later.
i see too many Ducs suffer at the track. they are great, beautiful bikes but they don't take a pounding like these GSXR's do.

Mike. If you ever decide to get another one, you might want to invest in a set of these.>>

They are supposed to cure the main problems with the desmo design. I can't believe Ducati doesn't do this themselves. It is a simple cure for the cheesy little retainer rings that cause all the problems.
exactly. had these been installed the bike would not have destroyed the heads. it was a bummer.
