I would say thats about the same lean angle as the first pic but from a different angle..... going by how much the elbow is from the ground

the cameral angle in my pic is deceiving, im on a 15 degree bank and the bike is acutally almost upside down through that turn

my left leg is also being pressed against the ground as well as the frame of the bike, at the apex of that turn your bars are around 4 inches from the ground :biggrin

If i'm ever back on the east coast again...... We should see how slow i am on your next track day.... and by the way if you read the comment that i had with the video it was a "fun run" and if nobody noticed i had another bike in front of me.... plus others in front of him.... not an excuse but a reality.... if anyone who wants to talk doo-doo and is on the west coast lets get a ride going and see what the deal is............

BTW Mpd... that pic is deceiving then if it is banked so hard.... but from the way it looks in that pic it doesnt look like theres that much angle (im assuming your not at the apex yet but just thru the turn in)

Chris

correct just starting the turn in

I've done that many times, turn 9 at NHIS you can drag elbow with ease :D

that is a Sunday ride ......nah, go to Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, CA and do Turn 8. Then you will know what fast is all about. For those who isn't familiar with the track or turn it is 2.5 miles in length and 600's are going around in the 1m23sec range for the top three. Turn 8 is 160mph with your right knee on the deck in a decreasing radius turn. It takes balls to not roll off of the throttle and just lean it in WFO.

Oye vey, a pissing contest about lean angles. You guys got nothing on these fellas.

i will verify that chris (dj life) can hang some lean angle, but i have not yet ridden with mike (mpd) to say anything about him. maybe this summer mike will take me on the 900 mile loop and i can report back.

all the pics look good btw, but the video sucked.
