hi my gsxr1000 k7 has 50k kms or 31000 miles randomly got a screetching sound. Rode it for a good hour stopped at a gas station to fuel. After half an hour of sitting i wanted to start my bike again it gets a super loud metally screetching sound and stalls if started. There was enough oil in it when it happend. Ive since pulled and tried the bike with no clutch assembly on the bike. (So clutch and gearbox ruled out) push started the bike with the entire starter assembly removed and still the same. Pulled valve cover and looks “new” inside and no sign of wear, blue or scorring. Was able to look inside the intake valves aswell and they looked good. My last savior is pulling the oil pan and hoping to find something there and if not ill have to take the block out. Anyone any idea what this could be?

You pulled the starter but what about the generator rotor? I've heard of the mounting screws for the stator backing out and scraping against the rotor. There's also a metal bracket & screw that secures the leads from the stator inside the generator cover. It also might scrape on the rotor if loose. If that isn't the problem, I can only suggest that you inspect the cam chain guides.

P.S. You may need to remove the rotor if that's your problem. The Suzuki 09930-34980 puller is currently around $180. A year ago I found a dirt cheap puller and mentioned it here. Its price has since doubled but it's sill far cheaper than Suzuki. I've still yet to use mine.
