Anyone care to offer some advice of how the removal works. What do I do with the hoses? Will the tank then vent to the atmosphere?

'02 Gixxer 1K.

Thanks...

the lines going from the throttle bodies to the canister can be removed and must be capped off. the line from the tank to the canister must be left open - that's the tank vent. 49-state tanks vent through their caps.
So it is as simple as it appears...

when i removed mine i left the tank vent hose in towards the rear of the bike and mounted a little slip on filter on the end of the hose to keep crap out of the gas tank, i live in a sandy area, also leave the tip valve in line so if the bike drops you don't dump fuel. the other hoses are removed and the throttle body hose is capped.

Have a similar issue, got a k6 600, has char can, most fuel pumps I see are ones that have no connection for hose from canister to connect to. The Hayes repair book doesn't even show anything about it. Would I be better off just taking it out? Or is there somewhere I can find one at a good price? Even the Suzuki dealer only shows OEM fuel pump with no charcoal evap can connection. Don't mind using it but like, if I can't find the rite pump for it what good does it do me, so if removing it is koo, please feel me in on how to do so. Again, 2k6 gsxr 600, the 06-07 model....not the 05-06 mod. Noticed a few differences in the two so thought I'd be a little more precise.
