I generally don't like the look of the newer parts on our old bikes, but the turbo sidelines that thought in a hurry.

It looks like he's blowing through slingshot carbs. I can't imagine the tuning nightmare.

I love the clean look sans exhaust can.

I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating spark plugs. ;)

I got this pic from a guy I bought some stuff from on eBay. Anyone recognize it? It's that Turbo thing again....

Those are actually a good friends of mines bikes. Yes he does have a thing for blue and white. :lol

That is a mr turbo kit with a mikuni on the slabbie It runs pretty hard but then again all of his stuff does. Last time he brought it to the track it ran 155-156 mph in the 1/4!

I stopped by my old engine builder's shop a few months back to pick up my Yamaha's carrillo rods and falicon crank, and he was building a turbo Busa. 520 HP at the rear wheel. Completely nuts. I don't think a bike like that could even be fun on the street. Incessant wheelies, burnouts, tire replacements, broken chains, etc., etc. It was cool looking, though! :wacko

damn now I want a turbo think of it a 1340 cc turbo 88 Katana now thats nuts

me is droooooling:drool :drool god those are nice. i think the swing arm on the second one looks alot like the swing arm on my 01 TL1000R to answer a question somebody had about that. in fact since i got the tiller, ive have been thinking long and hard about which way i want to take my old gixxer, and im thinking of trying to source a sim's and rohm super charger for it or go the turbo route, but with way i want a full pipe on it and complete body work, so as not to arise any suspision or as little as possible hehe i want a 200+ rwhp bike whic would be easy with either the turbo or the super charger.

Wow, nice looking ride. I was considering a turbo for my 1990 GSXR 1100, but a little worried about the installation and the effect on the engine. I can imagine a turbo system shortens the life of the engine to a total rebuild?
