and ya i hate sanding too. i dont have a power sander so i did it all by hand which is worse. and the frame was polished when i got it ya.

x2, sanding sucks. Reminds me of my very first bike... I hand sanded it in the cold outside one winter. My hands hurt so bad. Paid a shop to paint it with left over paint from my car - 96 Cobra.

Weren't those the ancient Michelin HiSport radials?

Back then I used to buy race take offs(in really nice shape) for $55 a set. I'm wanting to say they were Michelin Pilot Sports? I've never heard of HiSport so I doubt it was those.
