Just curious... why are motogp bikes so loud?

theres 2 exhausts i dont see how the size could be a lack of exhaust, everybike uses the exhaust done by the manufacture.
Not all of them use two exhausts, I think only the Hondas, and maybe Ducatis.

Pretty sure they use mainstream exhaust companies, I know the Yami used Termis and Kawis used Akra, at least last year. Of course the exhausts they use are highly unobtanium, but yah know....

Well I know they redline at damn near 20K rpm's which is def. one contributing factor

Their pipes are almost straight pipes from my understanding

Other bikes like WSBK and other Superbikes are still based on production, whereas these bikes are based solely on power and being as badass as possible.... so whatever (your guess is as good as mine) goes into the engine to make it that way I'm sure is a big part as well.

You should come on up and check them out Will..... your friend is right they are FREAKING LOUD..... earplugs are for pussies so can't comment on that, but they straight up shake your body as they fly by.

I like the sound of the Kawasakis the best.... not sure how/why but they're deeper pitched and different sounding.... badass
