a relay? please elaborate why...i don't quite follow :)

meagsxr27 - once you've tried an HID lite on your bike, you'll be a believer. the stock is ok, but the HID is so much brighter. you can see more at night and you can be seen more as well.
I had to wire a 4 wire relay to the ballast and the battery, with a ground wire to make the HID work, mine was not a plug and play version :(

K well i have those but it would be so much better if they had the connect for it to go on there without having to electrical tape it. But my other problem now is that my light bulb won't go in the housing....I can get it in there but the plastics that are on there to fit in the holes won't go in, they seem a little bit bigger than the opening. Now that i broke one of the plastics off i hope i can maybe sand down the 2 other ones a little bit just to even see if it will work and fit in there.
I would make a phone call or request a new kit if i was you, sounds like to many problems, like it the wrong one or something?

Stop dont go any father, im pretty sure you have the wrong kit!!!!!!!!!!!!! it sounds like a mis boxed 9003 kit.

Ok it sounds like a 9005 or 9006 kit, make a phone call to the seller. Post picts of the back of the HID bulb if you can?

Can you get an HID kit with the high and low beams? All I have seen are kits with just the low beam HID and matching (regualr) bulbs for the high beams. Has anyone gotten the matching bulbs....if so how well do they match and does your low beam still go off when you turn the high beams on? What website and how much? I have been on Ebay a lot.
No you cant and yes you need 5K or 6k zinon regular bulbs for the highs to match the HID. Low beam stays on when you switch to highs.

If you get HID high beams and you use the "pass" light switch...it might not do anything. You may have to hold the switch down longer than normal to initiate a "flash".
off topic, do you like your gel seat?

Anyone have to adjust their low beam after HID install? If so how did you do it? I rode with HID tonight and I feel like its aimed too high or is it just me? I swear I'm lighting up every sign in the distance. If they didn't see me before I bet dey see me now.... lol.
I had to drop mine a mile after the HID install, There is a bolt with a large washer in between the low beam and the left high beam. You cant miss it, the washer looks like it has teeth on the back side of it. Turn the bolt clockwise to adjust the beam down. Its very simple. :cheers
