When I bought my bike(k3 600) I was told it had no upgrades except the micron bolt on muffler.... I'm tearing my bike down for winter upgrades and the header/midpipe dont appear stock....? it's all stainless with stepped header pipes and it's all one piece(I don't know what stock looks like obviously).... look familiar to anyone or do they all look the same? I wanted to go with the 1000 header for weight savings unless this is a really good piece... thoughts?

so I did some looking and can't find anything even close to this piece for a 600... thought that it felt pretty light so I weighed it... 11.2 lbs!!!! I weighed it about 5 times to make sure and they were all the same. So in conclusion I guess I don't really care what brand or what is from - it's 1 piece and pretty damn light!!!!! lol :)

it may be off a 1000cc gsxr.. im not sure at all, but i know the 1000cc headers are abt 15 pounds and the stock 600cc headers are 22-25 pounds..

you need a better pic of the midpipe area.

move the camera about a foot to the right of the last pic. thats the midpipe.

Looks stock to me, my full exhaust weighs less than 10 lbs if I remember right. I believe the 1000 header weighs 4 or 5 lbs but you need to get a 1000 slip on to fit without the stock 1000 set valve mid pipe.

Thats stock. Not sure what year but its stock. Cant believe people put stock exhaust from other years on a differnt year bike? Whats the scence in that? Do it right and get an after market ex? For that little of a weight savings, you could be spending the time learning to ride better? Just my 2? Too much trouble for not enough gain, imo.

i believe its from a newer 750. 04-05 maybe. should have zero gains.
