Anyone have any suggestions? After riding a bit in traffic, when i get on the open highway and try to give it throttle, it bogs down and no matter how much throttle i give it, it just bogs and wont accelerate. Full throttle wont kill it, but it sounds like it wants to die. Seems to happen after riding a bit...maybe temperature related? Bike is a 2002 750 with only 6k miles. I'm lost.... When it starts messing up, I can turn off the bike and start it back up. It runs fine for a few seconds then starts in again...thats why I think it might be temperature related.

Does it do it only while in motion? Have you tried revving it in neutral onec it has warmed up to see if it still does it?

Plugged fuel filter. Pull it and clean it!!

How long have you had the bike??? Have the plugs ever been changed?

fuel filter is the first place i'd look.

Advice MUCH appreciated. It does do it in neutral when completely stopped. I'm going to check the fuel filter and go from there.... Thanks again.

I have the same problem, runs fine just cleaned fuel pump, filter and injectors. Every time I go for a fist full of throttle it bogs down.

still could be the fuel pump taking a crap. Just doesnt pump enough on top Rpms and kinda floats at say 10k or so ? It gets worse very slowly too, over a period of time

that seems to be it, it runs great at low rpms but once I open up the throttle too much it seems to bog down. I'm gonna grab a fuel pressure gauge and see what the fuel pump is doing. Also is it a bad Idea to look for a new one off ebay or is the fuel pump something I should buy new.

youll pay a small fortune for a new one. used you can pick up from 35 to 90. I did a used a had no problem.
Get one off the wera forums , youll have a far better chance of a good one and much better price(probably get one off there for 40)

Just put brand new plugs in when I was cleaning the fuel filter.

*update* Installed a new fuel pump, bike runs perfect now.
