Picked up both my L1 1000 and L1 750 chain adjuster recall parts last week. On both its just the left side adjuster block and axle nut. Adjuster block appears to be a heavier grade aluminum material.

With all due respect, I find it extremely odd that up until now I have not heard of any total brake loss failures. But now you suddenly know of several personally. Something seems very suspect about that.
I had it with my k8. Was driving around 30-40km/h (which is really slow). Car before me stopped to take a turn and I could not brake, lever went all the way. Reapplied the brake and there was stopping power but not enough. So Just ran into it. Driver of the car got out and was really suprised, first thing he said to me was "what happened, your distance was good but you didn't even brake".
I was stunned, it got in my head for weeks of how i managed to crash at 30km/h. Few weeks later I got a letter from suzuki for the recall of the master cilinder, but I already had my L1 (which had to recall as well).

It does happen.

The revised adjuster is pretty diesel looking.

I got a question for anyone who had the recall for the chain adjuster. What did you replace? I got some Yoshi axle blocks that I was going to do myself and just need to know if that's the only part I need to change.

Hi, I have an 2016 GSX-r750 with 13,000 km on it and the front brake lever has gotten very spongy since about 8,000 km. The bike has all OEM equipment and has been meticulously taken care of. The brakes have never had so much as a single bleed screw cracked open. The stock MC is a Nissin. Has anyone had any such problems like I am having on my L6 750? Thanks in advance.

P.S. New here and it's nice to meet you all :)

Thank you for replying Samantha750 :) I checked Transport Canada's website for recalls and it listed 2010-2013 Gixxer 600 & 750 as having recalls for MC failures. The dealership is going to go over my brake system and replace or repair whatever is ailing it at no cost to me if they find any prematurely deteriorated components.

Yes, it is a redesigned master cylinder.
