I have a 13 with real low miles. I was on track the other day and I started getting a noticeable vibration after 5k in 3rd gear.
Changed oil and road on the street and from 5k on I can hear something very mechanical Def not the regular engine note. The only thing is I don't see any real loss in power I can just hear and feel the vibration. After 8k the pipe kicks in and I can't hear if the problem still exist or not.
Help please. I was told it could be a bad lower injector

Can you hear the noise change in pitch as the engine speed varies between 5k and 8k rpms? If the pitch follows engine speed, it might be something mechanical, or it might be induction noise. If the noise maintains constant pitch and maybe changes in intensity, it's likely some sort of resonance. There are many sources of resonance, so it can be hard tracking it down. Things to check, include the clocks, the ramair ducts, the airbox, the windshield, etc. In each case, make sure the fasteners holding the part in place are properly tightened (don't overtighten them!) and don't allow the part to vibrate.

It's doesn't change pitch. But does get louder the farther up the rpms. And it's definitely coming from the engine area. Almost has a ducati noise which is not normal.

I'd start by making sure all screws holding the two airbox halves together are nice and tight then. Don't overtighten them, as it's easy to strip either the heads or the threads. If they're not loose, they're ok. Also make sure nothing else around the airbox is loose.
