Dear Friends
I had a suzuki 750 gsxr 2009, My ecu is burned twice because a little spark when I am fixing some wires, I would like to ask what's the reason ? Is it because of the fuses or not, is there away to do a protection circuit before the ecu? What's the original fuses capacity ? Please help me I will buy a new ecu but I am afraid it will burn again 🥺
Thank you all

Next fixing disconnect battery? ECM/ecu has no dedicated fuse but is in a fused circuit with 6 fuses.

It is a circuit board, a nice thing to test is to get an old circuit board and connect 12v pins and see how it burns and melts, little sparks everywhere.

For a 2014 GSXR1000:

a wire like Orange/Green has 12v live and is fused.

The only real solution is to disconnect the battery or make a fast disconnect kill switch?

Disconnect your battery and ECU when you're doing work. Done.
