Hey guys, I'm gonna be a new rider(my roomie has a gixxer 1000 and talked me into a bike, didn't take much by the way) I found a 2001 gixxer 600(white,blue,orange) with 11K on it. The only thing I didn't like was it had been lowered. It is extremely clean and sounded good for whatever that is worth. The only mods are a yuroshima pipe and he said he put a fifteen tooth front sprocket on. There is no doubt in my mind that he has run the bike pretty good, but I can get it for $4000 (talked him down from $4500). Keep in mind that this is my first bike and I am just looking for something to get me started. Please give me your honest input.
