So all of a sudden the past week my bike just decided to stop starting.
I'd leave my bike sit over night and try to start it... starts right up.
I'd take a 20 minute ride stop to get gas... Wont start back up. Battery seems drained. Does this every day.. i'll go to work for 4-5 hours... come back out battery is drained. Jumping it works every time.. Is this possibly a dead battery or other problems?
Now the other problem I ran into. I was getting a jump from someone at work, they attached the wires to their truck and I attached to my bike.. I turn the bike on, try to start it and here a whistle.. I look at my battery its smoking.. I pull the cables off really fast.. The guy jumping me puts his cables on the wrong terminal.
Will this cause more electrical problems?
Now my bikes lights wont come on, it wont jump, wont do anything..
I dont know much about the mechanical problems.. Should i just get a new battery? think there are blown fuses? other electrical?
