1. Do the 1995 GSXR750 front forks have the two step design like the 1994 or did they switch to the single step design like the 1993 GSXR750? See attached picture that describes the step.

2. Are all US market 1994 GSXR750 forks blue or does that depend on the color of the bike?

3. Are the US market '95 GSXR750 front forks identical to the '94 front forks EXCEPT the color?

Thanks.

94 and 95 are identical in appearance.

All 94 750 forks were blue.

I believe 94 and 95 forks are the same internally & externally, only the colour differenciates. I may be wrong though as I recall something about the wall sizes, though it may have been between 94/95 and 92/93.
Can someone else chime in here?

You are partailly right Dave:

91-92-93 forks are 41-U bodies, meaning they are 41mm

91-92 are the same with 35mm springs with .736kg/mm rate

93 are on their own: they use the same 41mm but have 36mm springs rated at .766kg/mm

94-95 are totally different from the others:
They use 43-U (43mm) bodies : Both forks are exactly the same except that the 94's are blue anodized; they both use 38mm springs, rated stock at .800 kg/mm

About the two steps in the forks, I have a 93, and can tell you I have those two steps...But maybe some previous owner put some 95's ???

Hope this helps...

I have just measured my fork pistons at 43mm OD:
Could anyone with 93's & 94's post up measurments of your pistons:
That way I could stop chasing 93 springs....lol...., and I would stand corrected on having 93 forks...And would start looking for 94-95 springs...

surewin; you have now put a doubt in my mind on my own forks...93's or 95's ???
(as they are silver..)

Take a good look: if your pistons measure 43mm, they are not the original forks... But 95's:
Just found that out on my bike... (silver not blue, so 95's...)

You know what, this why I like this place: Even though I worked on my bike for 2 years, and took almost every bolt out & put it back together, I see this thread, and get to see that nothing is for granted; Before tonight I never would have thought anything of my forks, and I was about to bid on some gold valve & springs off e-bay for the 93 forks: that could have been a costly mistake, but instead, Someone posted a question that related to my project, without me knowing it...

Surewin, thank you!
