I have a 2007 gsxr 1000. I have about 2000 miles on it. About two weeks ago I started up my bike and I had no tail light, blinkers, and gauges were not working at all either. The fuse box has two extra fuses in it so i replaced the blown fuse. Today it happened again. I started it up and all the lights and gauges were on. I put it in gear and pulled away and the gauges, taillight and binkers go down again. What could be causing this?

(I always have the kill switch in the on position, does this have anything to do with it?)

Check the fluid in your fuse box.Could be low.

Fluid is ok. any other ideas?

Do you have any mods on the bike that may be affecting the electrical system? I had a 95 Katana that would blow the rear tailight bulb all the time due to a poorly wired cigarette lighter mod for a radar detector.

yea usually when you keep blowing fuses theres most likely a short somewhere in the wiring..look it over closely..

It's probably a short somewhere in the wiring. Post this in the GSXR 1000 forum and someone there might have a similar problem and know the fix.
