I think the answer is becomming clear....think I'll hold out for an 03+ gixxer.

It depends....if you like to work on your bike, you can buy an 02 and put the difference in cams, full exhaust, rear sprocket, head work, new/modified clutch, tires, etc...and watch the 03's not keep up...It's your money and time....

Or spend half that and be even faster. The center of gravity is way better then the 02's.

Hell, I went from an 02 750 to my 03 1K and the bike felt WAAAY better and lighter.
