First post for a newbie.Bike has not been used for a few months and decided to do some repirs. have repleced a leaking fuel line on the bike. After that , started the bike no probs. Left the bike for a few hours and then noticed a puddle of fuel on the floor. It was coming from the overflow pipe from the air filter housing. figured it was a sticking float in one of the carbies so i tapped the outside of the carbies and the leak stopped. Now when i try to start it crankes over a few times then one hell of a backfire. Tried this a few times and the same result. Engine cranks over half a dozen times and then a big bang as it backfires without starting. This has gone on for two days now as i try to fix the prob. Have taken the plugs out and the air filter out to let any extra fuel evaporate , but has not helped.
Any ideas what it could be.
Thanks
Paul
