Everybody said don't do it, so I had to try ;-D
the aim was to empty the space around the back wheel and therefore i needed the space under the tank for the battery.
besides that I always wanted to have 4 single air filters on the carbs.
And yes it became a nightmare to make the engine run smoothly, even starting was a mess.
The pilot screw is now 2 turns out and running OK below 4-5000 rpm , but when I accelerate I notice a big lag and the engine stutters .
after checking many things , changing spark plugs and coils , setting valves it would still not run smoothly.
It runs lean , too much air .
so I took a (maybe too simple) decision to reduce the air intake by inserting an orifice that I printed in PLA, instead of changing the main jet and needle.
I calculated the original surface of the 1 hole in the main filter and dived this over the 4 carbs.
the bike runs fine again , as long it does not get to 190 degrees the PLA should hold , lol
now some finishing touches and she is good to ride
the chopped ass

new battery location ( I know weight should be as low as possible but......)
