A 1 piece is better in that they are "1 piece". but are more $$$$$$

A 2 piece suit is nice because if you just want to go into town you put your jacket on and go!!! And when you go to some twisties you put the pants and jacket on and zip them together and go(Alpinestars and Shift have some really nice 2 piece suits for just about $800)

 

1 pieces aren't any extra money, a lot of suits are offered in either 1 or 2 piece and it's the same price for either

for your situation i'd go with the 2-piece, but don't be gettin complacent and leaving the bottoms at home all the time

 

if you plan on doing alot of stopping and also commuting a 2 piece would be ur best bet. or you could get a 1 piece and commuting gear like textile riding pants and a good leather jacket or textile jacket. id get some odd looks wearing a 1pc around campus let alot id be hot ass fuck come spring/summer

depends on if u wanna do track day or not . apparently they dont let u do track days on a 2 piece

 

Depends on who is holding the track day. For example, STT (Sportbike Track Time) here in the US allows a 2 piece suit.
