I have a '98 FI 750, I was told that it was okay to block off the tube from the crank case to the air box. Um, is this okay?

dint Suzuki finally go with a positive pressure case?
I had mine just dumping into a bottle and it sure did ease oil usage as I am sure it was just sucking oil out of the crank case into the air box?
it should have a ladder type flapper system where the oil gets caught and drips back down instead of making its way into the airbox which is bad on sevceral levels as MANy of these engines end up running deprived of motor oil as when it gets low its neglected, then of course there is the oil in the air box thing, should at least be a glass trap you can unscrew then dump back into the crankcase... lol
recently I plugged the hose back into the box as it was putting a permanent crimp into my fine vent hose, can't have that. also I read somewhere the main reason you get a lot of oil into your box is cuz the rings are pretty much gone and its blowbye the rings pressurizing the crankcase even more hence more oil up the hose? dunno really however it sure does seem to run differently with it plugged in vs unplugged, apparently plugged in the air box vacuum can suck the pistons back up and some say its DANGEROUS to block it off completely, no where for the pressure to go
