What is the size of the end of our clip-on's 7/8??? I low sided and broke my bar end off. A guy at the local dealership the guy there says that it act's as a counter-balance so I must get another before I take my MSF class at the end of the month.

Bar-end weights are required for MSF now? Or you just want the benefit while doing the course. I have some that simply insert inside and tighten with an allen wrench that constricts a piece of rubber hose gripping the inside of the bar. So exact measurement is not always necessary.
However I doubt you'll notice a difference. they're usually used to eliminate some vibration. Never heard the counter balance line.
But if you ride it and you just keep going in circles I guess I'm wrong. Wouldn't be the first time!

I have a set of Black aftermarket ones in my garage, they are the friction style IE they use rubber grommets and a nut to lock them inside of the clip on. They are not for counter balance they are there to reduce vibration. The local shop should plenty hanging on the wall for about $20.

If only you guys knew where I live. My local shops (2) are crap. One has absolutely no street gear they would have to order it and the other if they have anything at all it is for hondas only and should you order it from them your looking at about a month or more.

F&ck the dealers! that what we've got this internet for. We've got a couple decent ones here but they're all a bunch of assholes. Order online of you have too.
