Well, thought I may as well give everyone an update.

Off crutches. Still not back at work properly. Still sore. Still pissed off at CGU incompentant insurance. Still don't have a bike. Still couldn't ride even if I did have a bike. Still broke.

Latest update:

Looks like they are going to finally approve surgery. Proberly get it done mid to late september. About fucking time. Disc replacement, and it is going to cost them aroung the $55,000 mark if everything goes as it should. Hopefully, I should be riding again within 6 months of it being done.

Have they paid you for you time off work now or just the operation?

I'm getting a weekly income from CGU (Criminal Guttless Units). Have been for a fair while now. So far, I've cost them in excess of $100k for the past 16 months. But hey, that's why they get paid to provide insurance cover.
