How to make gixxer more comfortable??

Like the topic says. so far ive gotten adjustable rear sets, and a gel seat. Ive heard about heli bars, but cant seem to find them for 04 gixxer and i want to spend a bit less. are their any other companys that make a similar product or where can i find heli bars?

How to make gixxer more comfortable??

1. Did you ride one prior to buying it?
2. Is your body positioned properly on the bike?
a. Too much weight on your wrist?
b. Heavy helmet?
c. Back hurting?
d. Foot positioning?

3. If all above fails, maybe you need to buy a cruiser/Harley.

i make such few posts,but always seem to get the condescending assholes. yeah, i have looked into the above, ive been riding for 4+ years; this isnt my first bike. and yes, ive looked into a ducati, wanna buy me one deusch?

now if anyone has any serious responses and doesnt want to waste my time, where can i find risers/heli bars??

its a sport bike - not a cruiser

If you want a more comfortable position, get all the way off the bike and rest your weight on your knee. It lowers the amount of pressure on your back

And for comfort - ride a honda the come back to the gixxer. Its like going from the salvation army to Saxs 5th Avenue (sp)

wow DOA8..you prolly get those responses cause your attitude, take a freakin chill pill dude shit! after all you bought a gixxer... more then likely for the power and handling in the turns right? you have to weigh options, do you want speed and crazy handling or do you want something comfortble to cruise around town? decide for yourself. gixxer= fast and agile. harley= slow and comfortable

doa8, why is it uncomfortable for you? You're not saying why it's uncomfortable for you. Of course you're going to get dumb answers when you are being so vague with your question.

call Helibars manufacturer. they might be able to hook you up w/ gear made for the 03 bikes or 04 1000 that can be adapted to your bike? worth the call if you really need a change.

I don't think he was trying to be an asshole, but hate to tell you he is right. They are not made for comfort. You have to suck it up and just ride.

You bought a racebike for the street....did you expect it to be comfy? Spend an hour on my RC51 and then tell me how much pain your in.

This is kind of like those posts...."I bought a GSXR1000 and I'm 17 and my Ins is $8000/yr....what can I do??????

ok heres what to do to make it more comfy, get one of those sheepskin seat covers, also put sheepskin on the clip ons and the foot pegs, this should help alot. for a better ride you could put a set of nice cruiser type tires on it, this will smooth out all those nasty bumps in the road.

i beleive sissy is the word i was lookin for, i have a 05 750, it makes my knees ache and my back hurt, i gotta say i love it!!!

two words for ya dude, COWBOY UP !!!!!!!

Don't listen to all these assholes....they don't know shit anyways. They like to pretend they do, but they are all fucking idiots.

One thing you might want to try to get more comfortable....take the tampon out of your twat. It might help.
