I'd double check the TBN for that oil. Some of the racing performance oils have a low TBN to increase power, downside is less time/mileage on oil as TBN becomes exhausted quicker.

Translation: all right for race engines on short duration oil changes not recommended for road service intervals.

Well sir you didn't read the reports properly. :fact

The 5100 did better than the 7100 if you pro-rata adjust the mileage. The 7100 only did 3,000km where the 5100 did 5,000km.

Also the 5100 had 3% fuel dilution where there seems to be no measurement recorded for the 7100.

In my book the 5100 beat the 7100.

However, were they tested under the exact same conditions? I doubt it, so that is a variable that makes it hard to know for sure.

Well my excuse is I picked up on the later posts

But I have been guilty of missing the date on things sometimes. Hey I even make mistakes on what floor the elevator is at work, even though I've been there 16 years.

It's got to be a troll, maybe by a moderator that likes to have some covert fun. Or some other funny guy.

BTW, I liked the "y'all", brought back memories of my holiday in Texas.
