I still need to put my bike back together and then we can get it goin' on!

Eh. First thing, I need to get it to the shop for a crash estimate for the insurance company, then get the check, then start getting parts and slap that crap back together!

Just been swamped with school and work so I haven't gotten it done yet. Dammit.

No, we always head up to the Jemez and ride to Los Alamos., Great country up there.

Some other great rides, too.

The sport bike guys are the squids from ABQ pretending they are on the track. LOL

Jemez has much more relaxed turns but I enjoy being up in the mountains. The scenery is spectacular. Some of the asphalt is in poor condition but overall, a good ride.

I like that Taos run but if you do it, go up through the pueblos. That way, it's not just a long, straight ride. In fact, we usually run up through Jemez and White Rock, then cut across the pueblos to Mora, up through Angel Fire and then over to Taos. Some badass riding on that route.

EDIT: Here's a map.

That narrow track from Mora up to Angel Fire is pretty freaky. Barely over a lane wide and people come haulin' ass through there in their various little hot rod cars, taking up the whole road. Be careful! :D

any current info on bike nites? I know ojos locos thursdays. is there still one at fudds on tuesdays?

I was at moto authority yesterday, decent stunt show, good food.. any other regular meets?

Most of the bike nights around town are primarily cruiser nights any more. I don't recall where they are these days.

The local squidiots on sport bikes effed it up for most bike nights so there aren't many things going on any more unless it's VERY informal.

APD really hats sport bikers now. Mostly, I just don't ride into town.
