hey all, just paying my dues and saying hello. I have been lurking for a while, but figured since I am going to start track days I might as well join in on the forum fun. I dont have a gixxer yet, just a sv650. Waiting to get a gixxer when my skill set increases. First track day will hopefully be March 18th at NCBIKE with TPM. Hopefully. I would love to start racing, but thats a ways off yet. Just a sparkle in my eye at the moment, need to see how the track day goes first and of course finances :facepalm. Hopefully will see some of yall out there :cheers


Oh and if anybody wants to claim me as their "friend" or whatnot for the TPM discount thing just PM me. I would love to get a discounted trackday for my first time out and im sure yall could use some track credit. I plan on signing up for the Silver package. Im talking about this thing:

Invite and Ride with your Friends on the track!

Silver and Full Throttle members may bring a friend with them to the track as their guest for the day. For one day a friend can ride or take the ART Level 1 School with sharing the same rate as the member for that day. Friends may register for their day by clicking here. They will need to use your name as the referring friend. If your friend joins the club you will receive referral credit with the amount depending on what membership was taken. Up to two friends may ride per event. Direct any questions you may have to sales@teampromotion.com

Just recently moved to Staunton, VA. Nearest biggish city would be Charlottesville. Pretty good spot considering I have VIR, NCCAR, Summit Point, and kinda NJMP within decent driving range. Not to mention some great mtn roads.

So nobody has rode the NCCAR track yet? Was kinda hoping someone could show me the lines, but I guess no one knows them yet. haha. You wouldnt happen to know if they allow camping or not at the track or if its offsite? Save me a phone call. I hate talking on the phone. lol

Thanks about the bike :cheers I have the full fairings, but they need touched up. Besides I like the semi nude look. Will hopefully be fitting some sharkskinz on there soon :punk

:lmao its an ongoing joke around here.

Seriously, there are millions of track going guys on here, you would be best to ask in the general Bike talk section it will get more views in there but be warned, you will get alot of smutty replies:biggrin

Just go with it, you will get used to it.

Unlike some people I can utilize the search button so I already answered my own question about the camping thing. haha. Ill post up in the other sections from now on though of I have a question. Thanks :punk

I am not sure about camping at the NCCAR facility, honestly it doesnt look very promising. I will go over to the TPM forum and ask somebody over there, even though I will probably get the typical "call the office" responce.

There have not been any bikes on the track yet, so nobody knows all about it yet. What we do know we talked about in the northeast trackwhores thread. If not the one you already posted in, the one before it.

I dont even want to know what a search that includes the keyword "camping" will dig up on this forum.

And welcome. Im orginally from NY but heading to the Fredicksburg/Quantico area in a couple months. How far deep into NC is NCBIKE? I guess if your willing to drive there from NJ I shouldnt bitch getting there from VA. Im just spoiled out here in SoCal with weather and all the tracks around here. Sucks I didnt start riding sooner to really enjoy them. Been out here for almost 6 years and only started riding the end of last year, just in time to leave :banghead

EDIT: Im retarded, read a thread just before this one and the guy was in NJ. Just noticed your from VA. I think Im moving to a pretty crappy location in VA as far as roads and tracks are concerned. Seem to all be 4-5 hrs away :cursing

haha. yeah quantico area does not have much near it. I think maybe NJMP is the closest for you? Or Summit Point. Im not sure. NCBIKE is right over the border. Its about 3 hrs from staunton if that helps :dunno
