Hey Guys!
This is my first post as I am new to this site.. been reading a while now and finally took the plunge to post something
unk
Just want to thank all of you for being here, I come straight to this forum when I want to know something about my bike and dont know how to do it... Nothing beats the fun of learning more about these things and how to do small time mods and such... and more than that, I love seeing my bike go from stock to the beautiful thing it is now...
So I wanted to start a thread (im sure this has been done already) and see what you guys are rolling with... Post a few pics, stock or modded... I dont care... Give a little info about what you have done...
I will go first... So I have a 2010 Black GSX-R600 with a full Akrapovic Race2 Stainless system, PCV, K&N Filter, Pazzo Levers, Vortex Rear spools, Spiegler Front and back Braided lines, Red Rim tape, Oggy Knobs and a black Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen.
PROPS to MOTOMUMMY for being awesome and where I got most of these parts from.
It is my second Gixxer 600, the one before this one was a K4600 White and Blue.
I think I am incredibly happy with what she looks like and feels like now... only thing left is to go and get her Dyno tuned for a good custom map... because jeeeezus she is shooting fire like a flame thrower on decel... I have thought about the PAIR mod and am yet to decide if I really should do that?? Will a tune fix the flames? (They are blue, so she is running too lean?)
Here is a video of her after the exhaust was installed... and also there are some pics of the journey shes had...
The first pic is just after I got the Akra installed.
Two pics after taken with a nice camera, After the levers and spools where put on.
And the most recent pics at the bottom after all the other bits are installed...
Sorry for the EPIC post... but I love my bike and wanted to share!! Next stop for me after Dyno rather than trying to add more ponies is go to some track days and an advanced riding course... can anybody reccomend a good one in Sydney?
Look forward to speaking to some of you and seeing your rides!!
