Suzuki Blue in a spray can ?

Hey guys, i posted this in the general forum as well.........but then saw the trackday section.....sorry.

I am trying to find the suzuki blue to match the tank on my 08 gsxr 600 track bike ( blue and white scheme ). Does anybody know where i can find it..........i hoped not to have to use the color rite brand, as i was told its crazy expensive.

Alot of guys we know have taken a fender, body panel (whatever) to their local automotive paint store with the computer scanner. They scan the paint of the part, it tells them what to mix and they get rattle cans for the "Aerosol Overhaul" that the color is really close. Not sure what the $$ is, but can't be worse that CR.

Good idea, but I like changing the color of my track plastics each season. I have tried different shades of blue a little lighter and darker than my gas tank. Yeah the suzuki can(color rite) is like 33 bucks!!!:eek:hmy Kinda hard to justify against a 6 dollar rattle can.:shifty

Dupli-Color Perfect Match Paint at any auto store (advanced auto, autozone, etc etc)

the toyota red is the exact same color as the red on the tank of the 07 R6. So I'm sure finding the blue won't be a problem. Roughly $7/can

and if you can't find it, they will make a batch for you.

I figured since a lot TD riders have dedicated bikes with fiberglass farings, and most that i know just do a rattle can paint job that somebody might be able to give me an idea where to find the color i needed.
