That one electrical connection per mirror really slow you down?
1 per mirror equals 2...and they are damn hard to route down through the body work and back up where they are supposed to be... It slows me down significantly. As someone who does this stuff all the time.. My opinion matters. :bitchslap

Correct..unless you intentionally put them on your bike.

Don't get me completely wrong.. It is nice to pop off the wire and just take off the mirrors to go to the track, but the location of the wiring makes it a total PITA.

make sure to raise the bike back up to stock height asap! when i got my 05 600 it was lowered and i rode it like that for about a month. then i went ahead and raised it (which is very easy) and the different is night and day in how it handles.

take my advise!!!

Why thankya very much sir.. Its always good to hear that..despite how many piece the bike may or may not be in at this current moment from the wreck the other day.. :lol
your welcome bud.. you wrecked the other day?... oh man that sucks..were you on the track or street riding?. hope you are ok and didn't suffer any serious injuries.. as for the bike.. time to rebuild eh?:dunno

Most of the parts are in now..enough to ride it and get it mostly back together. I was on the street, but I still had on my track bodywork... (foglight bolted on for a headlight, etc.)

so my street stuff is still all minty as pictured and I didn't loose my headlight or anything.. Destroyed about $1000 worth of stuff.. but I had most of it lying around.. so I have spent about $230 for the parts I didn't have..

I intend to have it back together tomorrow aside from the new taillight I need and some turn signals that have yet to come in.

No serious injuries..just some scrapes on my knees and my ankles were swollen and painful to walk on for a few days.

As far as frame sliders i really want to get some but its going to break me getting gear so i think im gonna have to wait and hope im one of the lucky few
